در بازی یکشنبه ۸ آبان بین تیم پرسپولیس تهران و داماش گیلان که به پیروزی ۳ بر ۲ تیم تهرانی و صعودش به رده هفتم لیگ برتر منجر شد، محمد نصرتی و شیث رضایی در جریان شادی برای دو گل پرسپولیس، پایینتنه یکدیگر را به شکلی نامتعارف لمس کردند. این رفتار، واکنش سریع رسانهها و مقامات ورزشی ایران را در پی داشت و از آن با عنوان «رفتار ناشایست و غیر اخلاقی» نام بردند.
محمد نصرتی محکوم به محرومیت از بازی تا اطلاع ثانوی و نیز کسر ۱۵درصد از مبلغ قرارداد خود شده است. در همین حال شیث رضایی نیز از دو بازی بعدی محروم شده و ۱۵ درصد از مبلغ قرارداد او نیز کم شده است.

A Controversial joy; Iran's football federation on Monday imposed indefinite bans on two players for their "immoral acts" during goal celebrations. The incidents, condemned by officials and commentators alike, took place during a league match between Persepolis Tehran and Damash Gilan, broadcast live on national television to millions of Iranians.
Footage on YouTube shows Persepolis defender Mohammad Nosrati pinching his team-mate Sheys Rezaei's bottom as they celebrated a goal against Damash. In another YouTube video, Rezaei is shown to squeeze an unidentified team-mate during another goal celebration in the dying moments of the game, which Persepolis won 3-2. "Nosrati and Rezaei have been banned indefinitely from all football activities for committing immoral acts," Ismail Hasanzadeh, head of Iran Football Federation's disciplinary committee, was quoted on the website. The two have also been suspended by Persepolis, a popular club financed by the government, and have to pay a fine of 500 million rials (nearly A$40,000) each.
