U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) today took to the Senate floor to speak in support of his newly introduced, Transportation Investment Recalibration to Equality (TIRE) Act. The legislation would make federal transportation and infrastructure dollars go further in Arizona and across the nation by suspending the prevailing wage provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act on all federal highway construction contracts.
