The PA State IDPA match was held at the Blue Ridge Cherry Valley Rod & Gun Club @ Sciota, PA. Since the match was only four hours away, I just had to sign up for one more major IDPA match. With 14 stages covering 7 bays, the match was fast paced the entire way through.

After my first stage fumble, I realized that I had little chance to get any top prize (errr...not like I ever expect it lol) so I kinda cruised for the remaining 13 stages. Actually I think I shot better because I was so relaxed. There weren't any field type courses (understandable considering the size of the shooting range), which means you had to shoot perfectly (and super fast) to win.

I'm happy of my low points down in this match (26)...wasn't the fastest shooter, but I shot a little more accurately at least.

This will probably be my last IDPA match and my last shooting match for a couple of weeks. I'm planning to shoot a fun steel challenge match in November. I will probably suck at it...but I always wanted to do it once my life.

Until then, B-Roll footage of this match coming up in a day or two!

Update 9 Oct: 1st SSP Sharpshooter out of 36 shooters SSP/SS and 27 out of 196 overall...I am now SSP Expert (only on paper it is...I ain't an expert shooter)
