An old man remembers his time as a fighter pilot during WWII. July 1944: one of his comrades came back from a sortie and hat shot down an enemy reconnaissance plane. As the pilots celebrate this, word comes that the other side has stated the name of the missing pilot: it is Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of „The Little Prince".
