Knights Video Blog 001 is a basic overview of the creation process of the Scrapper, and all the various aspects of art that come together to create a single in-game asset.
Without going into technical detail, This overview should give you a basic idea of what it takes to create a video game character using next generation technology.
Follow up videos soon to come of the development process of a character like this using Zbrush to create the high poly model, as well as videos on how to create a low poly model based on the high poly model, and The creation process for the normal maps and ambient occlusion maps using 3d Studio Max 2011, and last but not least, animation and exporting into UDK (Unreal Development Kit).
