Dr. Chacko talks with patient that is overcoming peanut allergy using Immunotherapy treatment (OIT).

This is done by adding tiny amounts of peanut flour to ones diet. (please see a professional Allergist near you, do not try this on your own)

There is always chances of reaction, but with the proper doctor and proper monitoring, it can be done safely.

Dr. Chacko is one of the growing number of Immunologists now using the technique. Currently there are no approved manufacturers on the oral therapy, so you would have to get your local pharmacist to carefully measure out exact doses of inexpensive peanut flour and then Dr. Thomas Chacko gives it to his patients while monitoring their response. Dr. Chacko has treated 35 patients in the last year, who now have overcome their peanut allergy.

From all over the US there are now 60 specialists that perform this technique.
