Firudin Allahverdi`s composition "Tafsir" ( for cl., vln., cello and prepared pno) was performed by ensemble "senza sforzando" in Odessa (Ukraine) 19 April 2008 ("2 days & 2 nights" festival) *** Firudin Allahverdi "Tafsir" for clarnet, violin, violoncello and prepared piano (2008) Tafsir -- is arabian word, it means to elucidate, to explain. Different scientists and artists in The Middle Ages such named own works which were written like explanation, or commentary on ideas and theories of philosophers and scientists which lived by that time in the East. Besides that were written very many tafsirs on holy book of Muslims -- Kuran. The matter which made tafsir in this work is ideas from anonim composers which "were lived" in the middle ages of the East. For hundred years, music that exists in the East -- Mougams has the same outlines in all of them, in spite of the different forms separately: 1. Bardasht -- the introduction. Music having typical character of prelud, playing mainly in the middle registers of the instruments. 2. Maye -- "tonika". This part are considered the central part of Mougam. Going to and fro happens around "tonika" mainly... 3. Tasnif -- is arabian word, it means to divide. It is rhythmical music between parts of mougam. (Musicians play it as if the same Tasnif in various interpretations.) 4. Zil -- the culmination of the form. In the main, development of the ideas of Bardasht and Maye.
