Anthropos presents
Excerpts from "Aeschylus Unbound," a new play by Mala Powers and Glen Williamson, performed by Laurie Portocarrero and Glen Williamson, about the ancient Greek Mysteries and Aeschylus, who is known as the Father of Tragedy.
This full-length, two-character, two-act play spans the life of the great dramatist Aeschylus and the events of that pivotal time in western history when everything changed. Democracy and Theater were just beginning. The Mystery religions were past their prime. Aeschylus dared to reveal the sacred Mysteries to the people and boldly shaped the future of Theater.
