Based upon standard Roman Catholic Theology, particularly that which pertains to the establishment and authority of Christ's own Church, as documented in the standard Theological handbook, Dogmatic Theology, Volume 2, Christ's Church, by Msgr. G. Van Noort Part 3: Pages 5 - 7, opponent's objections presented. Protestant and Modernist views of things, for example that visible churches are created by men and can come together and fall apart at will, or else that visible church was founded later in response to various needs, or that no lasting institution was intended since the End was to be so close, and so forth. So, question to be addressed by the remainder of the volume is whether Christ founded a Society worthy of the name or not.
