This video was part of a November 2014 project based school program called Communication and Conflict. Over a two week period, students from different Victoria area schools learned about the importance of oral history, took part in generating and asking questions of invited guests, photographed, illustrated and edited these interviews.
The big idea issue for the overall program was exploring methods of communication and service in the context of war and conflict.
Thanks to the students and teachers that were so willing to engage and create with us! And to the Ministry of Casual Living and the Story Booth Project for mentoring the students and partnering with the Royal BC Museum.
