Did Big Media lose big in the election? Dan Henninger, Deputy Editor of The Wall Street Journal, thinks so. He points to such anti-Bush coverage as Abu Gharaib, the front page "tilt" of the Times and, of course, the famous Dan Rather "incident." Jonathan Alter, Editor of Newsweek, respectfully, and sometime not so respectfully, disagrees. With the rise of the Net and other New Media during the election, Henninger says Big Media picked exactly the wrong time to lose its credibility.
