This video contains a dance that Warren Carlyle has been nominated for for Best Choreography at the 2013 Emmys.

Only portion of a dance is shown due to the choreography from an entire musical.

Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel (Broadway): I don't remember the last time a television broadcast of an entire musical was nominated for Best Choreography. I don't really have much to say about the musical since I have never seen it, but this clip I was able to find on YouTube does include a portion of Heaven's Ballet, which is beautiful.

Overall: I don't know what to think of this nomination. There's a whole musicals worth of material for the voters to see, which may put Carlyle at an advantage. Also, being nominated for the choreography of a musical may be thought of by voters as prestigious, leaning them in Carlyle's direction. I personally don't want to see Warren Carlyle win, but he may have a good shot, especially if voters are looking to take a more traditional route.

Thank you for watching, and comments are always welcome.
