Some of your favorite artists are putting their star power to the test to raise money for President Obama's Presidential Campaign. Hey guys, you're tuned in to ClevverMusic. Tuesday night power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z raised $4 million dollars at a fundraiser for President Barack Obama at Jay's 40/40 Club in Manhattan. Obama has said, "Beyoncé couldn't be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise..." Obama even joked about his similarities with Jay-Z, "We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are."

But B & J aren't the only high profile singers supporting Obama in his run, 'California Gurls' singer Katy Perry is now lending her talent. Katy will perform at the Obama "30 Days To Victory" fundraising concert in LA on October 7th. The concert is to be held at the Nokia Theater and ticket are reportedly starting at $44 per person for campaign supporters while General Admission is at $250 a ticket.

The concert is supposed to be followed by a dinner with the President hosted by Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg at a local restaurant and tickets for that will start at $25,000 a pop! Other stars who've recently held fundraisers for Obama include: George Clooney at his Los Angeles home, director Tyler Perry at his Atlanta mansion and Sarah Jessica Parker at her New York pad.
