On Day Eight of the peaceful occupation of Zuccotti Park, this young man was arrested in front of Chase Manhattan Plaza in the Financial District.

The Other 99 can CONFIRM a first hand account of what he said before he was arrested: At approximately 1pm, while participating in an organized march which ended in Union Square, this protestor broke off grom the group, laid down on the street outside a bank which has been barricaded for eight days, and with tears streaming down his face screamed: "THIS IS THE BANK THAT TOOK MY PARENTS HOUSE!"

After a few more minutes of gathered media taking pictures and video, TheOther99 has EXCLUSIVE footage of him being carried away by the NYPD. A few minutes later, an additional arrest of a young female with heavy media equipment was also arrested.

There have been unconfirmed rumors of independent journalists being targeted during this march. The Other 99 can NOT confirm these independently. We can confirm that multiple females with camera equipment were arrested.

We can also CONFIRM at least one young female photographer from Los Angeles being punched by a uniformed NYPD Officer.
