Fibular Hemimelia and Congenital Femoral Deficiency are two types of conditions that affect the lower limbs. Simply put, it is where the bone has not developed normally, leaving the limbs shorter than average. The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics is one of the few places in the United States with the expertise to treat these conditions.
