This is part of the poverty alleviation program of Loboc, Bohol under Mayor Calipusan. The Australian government provided the funds for the musical instruments. Members are Loboc children ranging from third grade to high school. These children are provided scholarship through college.
The brass band plays only in the evening after the famed Loboc River Evening Cruise. Watch, enjoy and be touched by the music of local kids. This is an excellent example of best practice in poverty alleviation.
