The inaugural #BurgerMondayPopUp on January 24th reversed a trend: I transported the humble hamburger not to a posh restaurant but rather the posh burger in a humble restaurant.
This pop-up was presented by http://youngandfoodish.com at Andrew's, a classic 1950s British caff (greasy spoon). Forget Josper grills and high-tech combi ovens. Guest chefs James Lowe, Ben Greeno and Isaac McHale prepared dinner for 64c on a flat-top griddle seasoned from decades of breakfast fry-ups.
