The present vehicle is a prototype stage product based on the previous concept demonstration versions. It is an electric vehicle that utilizes a unique wheel system that stabilizes a very narrow vehicle, enables light weight, and minimizes impact on land. High efficiency is achieved by this configuration.
We intend it to significantly aid in expansion of American agriculture by making farm labor less difficult and more efficient, and by making it possible to use land more completely.
Unlike common tractors where the driver sits high on a wide vehicle, with this new tractor, the driver rides low where work can better be done. Where the common tractor forces crops to be planted to allow for wide tractor access, the narrow new tractor makes land use more efficient, like that of traditional European practice.
Live testing is shown in the Garrod Cooper vineyard in Saratoga CA and on the farm of Robert McGrew in Dixon CA, as well as at the Sunnyvale site. With virtual imaging methods, we show how the Miastrada Dragon would fit into the highly refined OPUS ONE vineyard in Napa CA and the CAVE TAIN vineyard in the Rhone River Valley in France.
