CHAPTER 9: KAOS' KASTLE [10m 46s] A long meandering path with a wild assortment of enemies and Magic boosts. Cue Spyro for most of the way and Bash for the Arena Battle.
Cliffside Castle Approach - No irks here. The Raven Court - Not the most accurate with the Mace Majors but this is still okay. Spyro's spreadfire worked EPICALLY with the Crackler. The Pool - Lol, took me two tries to get onto the ledge. Wasted about 10 seconds there. Secret Passage - Perfect run through the grinders of death. Pushblock Challenge - Again the block physics response (and occasional lack thereof) got the better of me here. Cliffside Terrace - No problems. Castle Green - A cautious, tenacious and yet successful fight. I could've switched to Bash here for the Troll Stomper M5, but with the Grenade Generals in the way as well that may put him out of shape for the Arena Battle. The Great Hall - Same story here., except throw in some Cracklers into the equation too. Sadly it actually DID get too much for Spyro, hence switching to Bash for the Troll Stompers. Not sure why I went after the treasure at the door though. Sodaworks - Quick switch back to Spyro for the uphill barrels of doom. First section went by without a scratch; not quite so lucky with the second but at least the damages were minimal. The Windswept Tower - Butterworth's Skystones game. Lost a couple of stones, but nothing to worry about. The Sewing Room - That last grinder wanted to be the death of me :P Block segment went okay. Nedlepoint Nook - This almost cost me the entire run. Hence having to go tentative for the final stretch. Adept's Alcove - Perfect light beam run. The Theatre - Can't see any improvements here. Got lucky at the end too, haha.
Round 1 - Cue Spyro taking out the Life Spell Punk before finally switching to Bash for the main event. Got intense with the Mace Majors but that still went down as quickly as I anticipated. Round 2 - Another lucky run over a crumbling block. That somehow got nerfed with a little Mohawk Cyclops trouble though. VS Brute - Ah, Jawbreakers. Never did like them due to how defensive they are. Good thing Bash took him down long before the Life Spell Punks came in - two waves at that.
