Each year around 250 hardy cyclists brave the open road to cycle 450 kilometres over three days from Canberra to the highest paved road in Australia at Charlottes Pass. They do this for charity - to raise much needed money for Hartley Lifecare, which provides respite care for people in need in the Canberra community. This year, for the fourth time, my employer, PwC, fielded a team of twelve riders to complete the challenge. It was the hardest, but most rewarding ride I have ever done.
