Olympic gold medalist and motivational speaker, Jim Craig, goalie for the 1980 U.S. "Miracle on Ice" hockey team, uses this clip from the Disney movie "Miracle" to teach and describe the trait "Members of Great Teams Make Personal Sacrifices." This scene takes place following the exhibition game between the U.S. and the Soviet Union played at Madison Square Garden a few days prior to the opening of the Lake Placid Olympics. The Soviets blew out the U.S., 10-3. Herb Brooks does not think Jim is giving enough of himself. He challenges Jim to give more - to make more of a personal sacrifice.
