About green coffee extract. I do not really agree with this info, perhaps you will find it useful.
Here's some good food for thought if you love your low-fat, half-caf mochachino: you may actually be losing some unwanted weight through that cup of green coffee!

A study carried by the Biomed Central Complementary and Alternative Medicine in their March 2006 issue talked about scientists discovering weight loss properties in unroasted green coffee beans.

All such clinical studies resulted in vast popularity of green coffee among the coffee enthusiasts. What could be better than having your favorite beverage and losing weight in the process as well! So, if you are fond of traditional coffee and have weight issues to surmount, it might just be the right time to make the switch.

Green coffee beans are nothing but the normal coffee beans which have not passed through the roasting process. They do not have any particular aroma and are normally bitter in taste.

If your sole purpose of drinking green coffee is for undergoing successful weight loss, please note that green coffee consists of caffeine, which can have negative impact on your body in case you are sensitive to it. You must also consult your doctor if you are suffering from a heart condition and wish to consume green coffee. Pregnant or nursing women are advised against consumption of caffeine contained in green coffee as well as traditional coffee.

It must be noted that since green coffee can never be brewed like the normal roasted coffee, the only way to consume it is in the form of green coffee extract. There are many companies in the marketplace that are now offering interesting blends of green coffee extract with roasted coffee, manufactured specifically for the purpose of weight loss.

You can also purchase green coffee extract as a separate product free of any roasted coffee content. The year 2011 saw recommendations set for safe dosages of green coffee bean extracts.

Several weight loss studies have proven positive effects with green coffee dosages varying from 180 mg to 1000 mg and 81 mg to 500 mg of CGA. As a general precaution, just like in case of any commonly available weight loss supplement, you must always take your doctor or physician into consultation prior to consuming green coffee extract on a regular basis.
