Sunday, April 22, 2012 is Earth Day, and with so many growing issues surrounding our environment, some of our fave celebs put out a video with the Sierra Club to celebrate our beautiful planet! - Subscribe Now! - Like Us! - Follow Us!
Jessica Alba, Octavia Spencer, Megan Mullaly, Blythe Danner, Will Forte, Joshua Jackson and more all appear in a promotional vid, discussing their favorite places to hang out. Which locations made the list? Yosemite National Park, Griffith Park, The Coast of Rhode Island, Big Sur, Puerto Rico, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Redwood Forest, and Hawaii. Later in the video, the Sierra Club reminds us to, "explore, enjoy, and protect the planet," but of course, Joshua Jackson chimed that we should "mostly protect at this point." As for other celebs who are well-known for their dedication to keeping Mother Earth safe? We know Gisele Bundchen shares green tips on her blog, Leonardo DiCaprio made a whole film about the environment called The 11th Hour, and Natalie Portman is a vegan who designs a line of leather-free shoes! So let me know what you guys are doing to celebrate Earth Day in the comments section below, so we can all discuss tips and ideas about how to pitch in to do our part to conserve the Earth.
