A day after Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni blamed Uganda's opposition leader dr. Kizza Besigye for Thursday's incident by country police, a recuperating dr. Besigye came out to clear his name of the incident. Speaking from nairobi hospital where he is expected to remain for the next 4-5 days, the opposition leader maintains that his 'walk to work' protest was a peaceful one he will continue with until the country relieves its citizens of the current social-economic crisis that has seen the cost of living increase threefold.
