Child Aid Gambia's Ndangan Water Project 2013 Sponsored by Water to Go.Over the last two years, Child Aid Gambia has been working towards improving the lives of severely impoverished children living in the Gambia. One of our main projects for this year is a fishing settlement called Ndagan; a place where children are constantly underfed, almost always poorly, and live in completely squalid conditions in houses made from waste materials. The children urgently need help to improve their lives, and Child Aid Gambia's aim is to do just that.
Our main priority for Ndagan is to provide them with clean, safe drinking water by installing a pipe from a far-away water source. This will help to improve the health of the settlement and especially the children to no end, and will give them one of life's most basic needs. This film, narrated by Child Aid Gambia's founder, Katy Roberts, outlines the struggles faced by the residents of Ndagan and how the charity intends to help.
Child Aid Gambia is working in alliance with Water to Go to make sure the people of Ndagan get exactly what they need. To learn more about Child Aid Gambia or Water to Go, and find out how you can make a difference and support us in reaching for our goals, visit http://childaidgambia.org/
