Participants include:Dal e Jamieson, a professor in the Departments of Environmental Studies and Philosophy at NYU; Simon Caney, a professor in Political Theory and Tutorial Fellow in Politics at Oxford University; Stephen Gardiner, an associate professor of Philosophy at the University of Washington; and Henry Shue, a senior research fellow at Oxford University's Centre for International Studies. Richard Stewart, the John Edward Sexton Professor of Law at NYU School of Law and director of its Center for Environmental and Land Use Law, will moderate the session.
The discussion marks the launch of Climate Ethics: Essential Readings (Oxford), a volume co-edited by Jamieson, Gardiner, Caney, and Shue.
