United States Navy Blue Angels - More Blue Angels Video - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=...

Blue Angels Crash 2007 - We were on the opposite side of the field from the main staging area of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort South Carolina. I was recording the Blue Angels off in the distance as they were maneuvering around to fly over the crowd for the final maneuver.

A common question that has been asked since I first uploaded the video, is how come I didn't keep the camera on the plane as it was crashing. The answer is I didn't know it was crashing. It was common for the planes to drop below the tree line out of the vision of the camera.

5 jets looped around for the finale. Off behind us was a plume of smoke which occurred before the final flyover. I did turn around and saw the plume of smoke but didn't think it was anything. As we were approaching the airshow, there were pyrotechnics going off. This is also a rural area in South Carolina so someone could have been burning something.

The announcer said the planes would be landing, however one final plane was circling over near the plume of smoke. He finally did come back and land being the 5th plane to land. The 6th plane with LCDR Kevin Davis never came back.

We got in our car and traffic backed up. We started hearing sirens. About 20 minutes later the radio station announced there had been a crash at the airshow. Free Crochet Patterns & Lessons - New Upload Wednesday https://www.youtube.com/user/tjw1963
