Margot Salomon has played a key role in documenting international responsibility for the human rights violations resulting from the austerity conditions imposed on Greece following the debt crisis. Dr Salomon’s research was based on her involvement in the development of the Maastricht Principles which define states’ obligations for human rights beyond national borders.
