I composed this as an opening theme for a video game. And as a theme I wanted it to encompass all the general aspects of a game. It has three parts. The first being the introduction where the problem or main plot develops and the tension builds to action. The second part is the blood and guts where all the exploring, fighting and discovering occurs. The last part is the resolution, where your hero walks through the aftermath of war, breaks through the fog and sees the promise of hope and the bright future he fought so hard to preserve and sustain.

Thank you so much for everyone who gives their time to listen, rate and comment. Especially those who say they have felt inspired or better from listening. It encourages me to keep making music and I appreciate you all for that. Thank you!

Thank you, Cerys. I'm glad you enjoyed it. That is my feeling on the matter too (haha, obviously since I'm the one sending stuff), but I realize not everyone enjoys it. I get close to 100 messages a day with people sharing stuff and it never bothers me. I encourage people to share because honestly, I have found a lot of great talent on here I would otherwise never have discovered. I love the community/sharing format of the site. Thanks so much for listening and writing!

Yeah, I agree. I need to get some better sounding timpani. I might try layering them with a kick and see if I can get some more impact out of them. Thanks so much for listening and the suggestion. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. The game is going to be an indie computer game. I am trying to make a few tracks for them to see if they want to work with me because they are lacking in the music department. I can't say anything about it now because they are keeping it quiet until they come out with an initial release in a couple months. And again, my music may not be included if they don't like the portfolio I come up with. Thanks so much for listening and writing that. Best wishes!

Yeah, it is a bit generic. But I don't know all the details to the game I am trying to compose for. This is kind of a general opening, which I admit in my video description. This is just for a portfolio to try to get them interested so I can try my hand at actually being "in" on the project and composing personal tracks. Thanks for listening and writing. Best wishes!

My main program is Ableton 8. But in this I used a few instruments from Cakewalk. Thanks a lot for listening!
