Chapter One

I breathed in the fresh humid air filling it up to the top of my lungs. I skipped off to the village park. My cutt of shorts blewn in the wind, checkered shirt was flopping about and silver gladiators were squeazing my feet. I was clutching onto my book Romeo and Juliet.

I was there I stood outside of the black grand entrance gates. That read.
.
Sempreverde Parco. (Evergreen Park)-

The suns beams were shooting at me causing my already curly hair to frizz up even more. I gave up and tied it into a messy pony on my head.

I walked around again looking for my oak tree, I circled the park a few times but then I saw it. Already occupied by someone else.

I furrowed my perfectly defined eyebrows. He was a bit taller than me. He had dark brown curly locks that lolled into his eyes unwantedly. He was reading a book. I smiled.

I tiptoed over quietly, I managed to strain my eyes to see his cover. Romeo and Juilet. I giggled softly.

On impulse his head lifed up sharply. I hid behind a rose bush.

"Whos there?" He asked showing his american accent.

I rolled my eyes and got up slowly. Trying hard with determination to make sure he didnt notice me.

"What the--?" He was cut off short.

Great! I dusted of my clothes and straightened up. I watched his expression it turned from shocked to angry.

"Ciao.-(Hello)-" I spoke, clearly hinting my Italian accent.

"Oh, right then." His face softened, he collected his stuff.

"Non andare (Dont go)-." I shouted.

He turned around and crossed the space between us. Only the rose bush stood in the middle.

"Huh I. Dont. Speak. Italian." He spaced the words out as if I was seriously retarded.

"I know, I can tell." I retorted.

"Praise the lord!." He throwns his hands in the air. "You speak English."

I narrowed my eyes and placed my hands on my hips. "Jerk." I muttered.

He smirked. "I know." He looked down to his book cover which was facing me. His cheeks started to flush. I looked down at the cover, he quickly turned it to face his chest.

"You like Romeo and Juliet?" I asked, trying to hide my smile.

"No, it is for pussys." I laughed then. He gave me an daggers with his mud pie like eyes. "Anyway where is the palace?" He asked.

"Turn left then right follow the signs for Palazzo Rosa ( Palace Rose)-." I lied, keeping my face relax trying to hide the evil smirk that always gets me in trouble.

He turned around and walked out without a thanks. I released my face and left the evil smirk run wild. Now I have to go to the Palace Rapido.
