SAANICH - Following Jeff Buziak into the mausoleum where his daughter now rests, it is clear; this is a man on a quest.

"There's still this part of me that doesn't believe all this insanity has happened to my daughter", says Jeff Buziak.

The insanity began February 2nd 2008 when Lindsay Buziak's body was found by her boyfriend.

Investigators believe the realtor was lured to an empty home on DeSouza Place in Saanich by two people posing as prospective buyers.

Once inside, Lindsay was stabbed multiple times.

Buziak's family and investigators made repeated calls for witnesses to come forward and a large reward was posted for information on the case.

Last year a U.S. television network highlighted the case in a prime time news magazine.

So far the attention has provided few leads and Lindsay's killers remain at large.

Jeff Buziak has often been outspoken since his daughter's death; criticizing the investigation and warning his daughter's killers they will be found.

Buziak acknowledges some people see that as an obsession, he prefers to call it a mission.

On Wednesday he will continue that mission leading a memorial walk from the Royal Oak Burial Park to the Saanich Police Station. He says the walk fulfills a promise he made to his daughter.

Saanich Police officers will be joining Buziak. They say after the walk the department will provide an update on the murder investigation.

After three years of waiting, Jeff Buziak has learned solving the case will take time.

Something the father says he has... and something he can only dream about for his daughter.
