A NATO centre focussing on cyber attack is preparing to open. The potential threat to the UK's computer networks has been rated as a top-level threat to national security. The Defence Cyber Operations Group has been set up in Estonia to monitor the danger. The country was one of the first to suffer a major attack on its key services, with fingers of blame being pointed at Russia, although no hard evidence has been uncovered. The UK is preparing to spend £650m on cyber defence.
