Amazon.com opened on the World Wide Web in July 1995 and became an e-commerce pioneer. The company introduced the Kindle e-reader in November 2007, and now sells more Kindle books than print books. In 2011, it unveiled the Kindle Fire--the Kindle for movies, music, books, magazines, apps, games and web browsing. Today Amazon Web Services provides Amazon's developer customers with access to in-the-cloud infrastructure services based on Amazon's own back-end technology platform. These are just some of the reasons why Wired Magazine has suggested "Amazon owns the Internet." But the company still operates as if it's Day 1. And it's applying that same tenacity to digital advertising. Join Lisa Utzschneider, Amazon's VP of Global Display Advertising, for a discussion about how Amazon is innovating for customers across its business, as well as what this means in the context of Amazon's display advertising program specifically and for digital marketers more broadly.
