Back in September 2010 my whole neighborhood in Omaha, Nebraska was invaded with huge dragonflies. I had never seen anything like this. As we ran around trying to figure out what was happening, we realized that not only were the dragonflies swarming the block, so were all kinds of other insects. Ants, moths, spiders. Thousands of insects were all over the place, and they were all getting eaten by this dragonfly swarm. It was honestly one of the most incredibly magical things I have ever witnessed. It truly felt like a scene in a movie or something.

Here is a post about dragonfly swarms, and in the comments, a woman talks of seeing the same swarm I filmed.

Also, I know that the mating ritual of the dragonfly is commonly referred to as the dance of the dragonfly.

Music by myself(Mark Adam Crow) and Josh "Guitarzan" Weisberg
