Wik and Kugu Ranger Service, Aurukun, Cape York Peninsula
In partnership with the Aurukun Shire Council, APN Cape York is committed to improving conservation outcomes for our country that are delivered by traditional owners of the land they are working on.

APN Cape York has received funding through the Federal Government's Caring For our Country Program (CFoC), Biodiversity Fund and the Fire and Carbon Project. This funding has allowed APN to support the development of the Wik and Kugu Ranger program with the Aurukun Shire Council funding from the Queensland Indigenous Land and Sea Ranger program.

APN and the Wik and Kugu Rangers are committed to driving positive outcomes for the environment at the direction of the senior rangers.
