This response shows a no high pitched Adam delivering with the band in 2004 (for the child rising funds compilation "Mary Had a Little Amp", note) one of his best vocals onto a wonderfully produced by the band track. Pure Imagination, originally, is a song from the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. It was written by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley specifically for the movie and does not appear in the original book by Roald Dahl or the 2005 film adaptation by Tim Burton. It was sung by Gene Wilder (who played Willy Wonka inthe 71's piece). I dedicate this to all Maroon 5 fans, and I'm sure Adam especially, but all the band, really feel these lyrics describing themselves SO well.
