Not too long ago a group of doctors, scientists and researchers got together to investigate why cancer survivorships have improved over the years for every age group but one: adolescents and young adults. At that age, you're supposed to be doing stuff like learning to drive, making plans for college, getting married, starting your life.

So imagine what it would feel like if the path you were on suddenly took a sharp turn and you had to spend those years sick and in and out of treatment centers. The disease is enough to deal with it by itself, and all the social and lifestyle changes only add to the struggle. But the most important things in life don't have to change--like the love and support of friends, family and the medical community.

Epipheo Studios helps the Oncology Youth Connection show you four easy ways to show that love and support.
