Here you can see the dramatic difference of emergency stopping on dirt roads or gravel with abs vs no abs. First WITH ABS, it takes about 100 ft to stop, hopefully in the real event the cliff or the obstacle was not at 80 ft from where you hit the brake. Second video is WITHOUT ABS just HARD on the REAR brake ONLY, you can see the difference, about half the distance, last is HARD on REAR brake and progressive pressure on the front brake, NOW THAT IS DIFFERENT, it cuts the distance by about 80 (YES EIGHTY %).
