Our cat Kimicat used to do this, would lead us upstairs and to a specific spot but she wasn't even pregnant, why would she do that? Did she think she was pregnant and about to give birth?

Our cat, Spartacus, did this as well! We prepared a "birthing suite" for her and she gave birth to two ginger cuties. She's now spayed and her boys are neutered and they all live with us :)

cats do that for some reason. they'll also run up to you and start "meowing" repeatedly to get you're attention after they have babies, because they're excited to show em to you.
