We did this interview with Dexter Holland in 2000 about their album "Conspiracy of One", internet technology and the music industry:
"I support things like Napster. I think they're promoting music and doing a good service. And we thought: if it's going to be on the internet, why not do it ourselves, and show the fans that we care about them. And we're willing to take a chance. And maybe if they like some of the songs, they'll go out and buy the album anyway."
