Tyler Blaine Genneken was a young boy in Indiana, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in the Summer of 2006. After a 40 month battle with Cancer, he lost his battle. He was just 14 years old. Before Tyler died, his story, and his request that others help him fight Cancer, resulted in thousands of units of blood being donated-- and to date, more than 3, 570 people joining "Be The Match" Bone Marrow Registry in Tyler's name. He is, and always will remain a Hero.
