This video shows a very fast manufacturing process played back in extreme slow motion. It shows the punching of an oil filter lid.

It was captured using the MotionBLITZĀ® Cube camera. With the resolution set at 1,280 x 1,024 pixel the high-speed camera delivered 500 frames per second.

The sequence of interest lasts 298.1 ms which corresponds to 0.2981 seconds. It was cut from the recording to decrease file size. For demonstration reasons it is played in a loop at the beginning of the video.

The sequence shows the lid of an oil filter being punched to its pot. Our customer wanted to visualize the vibration of the work piece in order to optimize the manufacturing process. The customer develops and supplies filtration solutions to the international automotive and mechanical engineering industries.
