Ben Saunders talks us through what will be on the menu as he and Tarka take on the longest unsupported polar journey in history (The Scott Expedition) in Antarctica later this year.
Daily diet will consist of freeze dried meals brought to life with melted snow, energy bars, supplements and a few treats along the way.
In October 2013 Ben Saunders is departing on arguably the most ambitious polar journey in history - an 1800 mile unsupported return journey from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole retracing Captain Scott's footsteps.
It will be the longest unsupported polar journey in history and first time Scott's route is completed.
