Asus X205TA Gaming - Skyrim. We test Skyrim at 800 x 600 with low settings and medium textures on the ASUS EeeBook X205TA-US01-BL. Honestly, it didn't do bad, considering we've tested the game on a Z3735F tablet at 640x400 and achieved around 26-30 fps for the most part. 800 x 600 gives us a considerable boost in clarity, and as you can tell by the video it looks quite decent. Framerates often hover around 24-26 in the wild and in populated cites, we see 20-23 average. While this sounds low, on a small 11.6" screen, it seems decently smooth. Judge for yourself on the video - and know that you'll be watching this on a 17" to 24" computer monitor at your home, and even then - I still think it doesn't look bad.
Also being a slower "non-twitch" game, gameplay isn't bothered by lower framerates (as long as it isn't too low), and for this test ( I played it for awhile, it seemed enjoyable enough.
Anyway, here you go... have a look and see what you think. I felt it was playable, but just on the edge. If it dipped any lower on average though, I don't think it would be enjoyable.
