This is an arrange version of 夏の恋 (Natsu No Koi) by the Japanese band Tam Music Factory. This band makes free MIDIs available on their website: http://www.tam-music.com
This song is also available in MP3 form and on TAM Music Factory's CD album, more information on their website (link above).

Another thing: In case you wonder, I didn't ask permission from Tam Music Factory about using their MIDI files for making FM arranges and I should have done so probably. When reading their usage terms, it's quite ambiguous about that particular usage. Anyway, if one day, they hear one of my arranges, I hope they will like them. If not, I may remove all of them according to their will, if they want me to remove them.

Made by replacing the original GM presets by the following VST instruments or audio tracks:

- 6xVOPM
- 2xFM7 (Native Instruments)
- 11xYamaha RX11 drum samples
- 1xlayers

The original MIDI file immediately inspired me a typical mid-80s pop song, hence my choice of sounds for this one (and that gated snare!). The main piano melody sound surprisingly good for a 4-op piano sound into that particular song and the drums perfectly fit it too, the only bad bit being the crash cymbal at the end (the RX11 is not good for crash cymbals). Other sounds should be familiar to you with my other arranges (I added a bit more chorus to the string pad than I did for other arranges).
Ah, that bass sound. The VOPM preset I used was named Magical Bass. After a closer listen to its sound, I assume it being a port from the bass sound used in the song Magical Sound Shower from the game Outrun (thet Sega arcade version, which uses a YM2151 FM chip for the music).

I don't have much experience in mixing and EQing but I did my best to make this song pleasant (though maybe inferior to their own arranged version, but that's up to your tastes). If you have advices please let me know, you are welcome.
