The news of African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) president Julius Malema's expulsion from the party has led to violence in his home town of Seshego, Polokwane. Gunshots were fired in Seshego, as rival ANCYL members clashed. The chaos broke out soon after the ANC National Disciplinary Committee announced Malema's expulsion at about 9.30 pm last night. The clashes continued into the early hours of today, with police forced to bring re-inforcements.
