The best (and easiest) meal any Brit can cook! ;^)

Approximately 95% of Baked Beans are consumed in the UK. Heinz are traditionally the best and quite costly per tin, but there are literally dozens of brands going for cheaper and they don't taste that bad. It's all in the sauce..

lol, thanks.. the guy you speak of is a few bob short of making sense.. he's inconsistent, unreasonable and typical religious.
Words of a dedicated bean lover. By the way I was reading on your religious debate on that video by DarkMatter with that black man. I found you hilarious and quite interesting. I think you deserve a subscribe.
I agree.. I actually do use the stove these days, but I make a sort of "cowboy beans" dish by using sea salt, black pepper, a dash of garlic and chilli powder, basil, dried chives, oregano, and thyme. The saucepan has a knob of butter melted in it before the beans are added, then the herbs are stirred in. Is gorgeous! Nice to dunk bread in the sauce with, rather than on toast, because the sauce is very thick and rich done that way.

I'm sorry but i would rather cook my beans in a saucepan on the stove..not in a microwave...........i love beans on toast....yummy.
Beans will give you wind, quicker than inspiration.

Beans on toast! Yum! I'm Irish by the way, no critisism please. Tea and toast and beans with fried egg for brekkie :) Yummy.
@TableWolfMusic Next year? How odd... I never buy less than 3 or 4 tins of beans at a time when I shop... sounds odd that you might only have got one. Normal pepper is better... beans are nice with some dry herbs/chives, etc dashed over them, also. Adds a little zest to the dish, without spoiling it.
