== Lyrics ==
How you seem so far away,
Do you remember your way home?
Are you lost, are you afraid?
Are you feeling all alone?
I have been so far away,
Can't remember my way home.
I am lost, the daylight fading away,
And I'm feeling so alone.
How you seem so far away,
Will you ever find your way home again?
Can you see the dawning day?
Can you see you're not alone anymore?
I have been so far away,
Can't remember my own...
I have suffered through a thousand lives,
More than anyone can know.
I have been so far away,
Can't remember my own...name.
If you hear me crying out in vain,
Let me know I'm not alone,
For I am ready to come home.

The verse and chorus melodies came from a dream. I was lost in a remote park, walking around a pond as the daylight grew dim. I fell asleep and was rescued, and awoke at a visitor's center. As I looked on a map trying to find my way back, this young girl stood next to me and quietly began singing this song. I responded back with the chorus. This was all a metaphor for our spiritual condition in life, for trying so hard to find our way.
