Michigan State University's T.B. Simon Power Plant provides steam heat and electricity to the 5,200-acre campus. Infrastructure Planning and Facilities Director of Utility services, Bob Ellerhorst, describes how the power plant is a integral part of Michigan State University's environmental goals for the year 2015.

DISCLAIMER: Prior to the creation of Infrastructure Planning and Facilities in January 2013, several IPF departments were a part of the now-dissolved MSU Physical Plant. This video references that former unit.
