I took these photographs yesterday Sept 14, 2010, from 8:15 to 9:45 a.m. while wading in the rocky bed of Beargrass Creek about a half mile from Cherokee Park. The bridge is called the Bernheim Bridge, I think, and it was built in 1928. Since I doubt that I'll print any of these, the only way to share them was either as a Facebook album or as a video on YouTube.

I know the photos are cliches and the music might sound schlocky at first. My excuse for the photos is that I had a great time walking intently along in the creek on a beautiful summer morning and gaining more control over my camera. I have no excuses for the music. I like it. The first song is Pat Metheny's "Letter from Home" and second is the 5th track from a CD by Steve Reich and Pat Metheny. It's called "Slow" and is the second of three parts of a piece called "Electric Counterpoint." (The other two parts are both called "Fast.")
